1. Base design

consider the structure of the base first when designing the wooden box. We have thought of the reporting structure and size of the media, and select appropriate components and connectors with sufficient strength according to the weight of the equipment to complete the base design. The base is usually composed of skids, end logs, base plates, sleepers, auxiliary skids, skids, etc

the size of the skid should be selected in combination with the weight and size of the contents. The number of skids depends on the width of the contents, for which different standards are available at home and abroad. Many German enterprises also have their own stricter packaging regulations. For example, a German enterprise requires that five or six skids be used for equipment export packaging with a width greater than three meters, while the German wood packaging standard stipulates that five or more skids should be used only when the width exceeds 3,25 meters. Generally, the skids shall be evenly arranged. If bolts are required to fix the contents on the skids, the position of the skids can be offset appropriately. Because fixing the contents on the base plate does not work at all. A whole log shall be used as far as possible. If the length is not enough, docking is allowed, but the docking position shall not be at the center of the length, and the docking positions of each log shall be staggered. After the skid is selected, its strength must be checked. Common check methods include bending strength exclusion: loosen the motor fixing screws, compressive strength and shear strength. Here is an example of shear strength checking calculation, which means that when the right side of the sleeper is located on the same plane as the left side of the skid or vice versa, the gravity of the contents and the lifting force form a shear effect on the skid. Here, only the formula for checking the shear strength of the skid is listed as a reference. The check formula is as follows:

the calculation result shall not exceed the allowable shear strength, and the allowable empirical value for pine is 0.5 kn/cm2

the size of the end wood should also be selected according to the weight and size of the contents. The length of the end wood is the same as the inner width of the wooden box. The end wood is usually fixed on the skid with bolts. The distance from the end of the skid to the end of the skid is equal to the thickness of the end plate. The size of the bottom plate can be selected according to the standard, but the simplest way is to be the same as the side plate and end plate, which is conducive to production and processing. When the sleeper usually bears uniformly distributed load or concentrated load in its length direction, the required section size and number of sleepers can be calculated. Sleepers shall be installed on skids with bolts or steel nails. According to experience, it is better not to fix the sleeper directly, but to fix it after positioning and marking on the base with equipment at the packaging site, so as to reduce the assembly error
